I was lucky enough to participate in an outdoor education workshop at Mossom Creek. We learned about and used tools to explore the natural environment that we could take back into our classrooms. We also received a talk from forestry experts from UBC.
At this professional development day, the keynote speaker was Dr. Michael Ungar, who spoke to the attendees about school connectedness and how we can facilitate resilience in our students.
